Websites for Cleaning Companies: What Actually Gets You Booked

Samson Select Marketing · Bonney Lake, WA · October 29, 2026

Most cleaning company websites say the same thing: “We clean homes and offices. Call for a quote.” Then the owner wonders why the phone stays quiet while competitors with worse reviews stay booked out. The problem usually is not the cleaning — it is the website. Here is what a cleaning company website needs to actually produce bookings, based on what works for cleaning businesses in Pierce County and what we built into a real client site.

1. A Real Page for Every Service You Sell

Google does not rank homepages for specific searches — it ranks pages. When a property manager searches “office cleaning Tacoma” or a homeowner searches “move out cleaning Puyallup,” Google looks for a page about exactly that. If all eight of your services are bullet points on one page, you are invisible for seven of them.

When we rebuilt the online presence for Mafatehu Cleaning Services, the core of the job was eight detailed service pages — one each for office cleaning, house cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out, and the rest of their lineup. Every page covers what is included, how the service works, and who it is for. That structure is what lets a cleaning company show up for the exact searches its best customers type.

2. Publish Your Prices (Or At Least Your Ranges)

Cleaning owners resist this one, and it costs them. Here is the reality we saw play out with Mafatehu: their apartment and commercial clients kept asking for prices up front — and were going to competitors who published them. Buyers of cleaning services are comparing three tabs at once. The company that shows a straight price range looks confident; the one hiding behind “call for pricing” looks expensive or disorganized.

You do not have to publish an exact quote. Publish market-based ranges per service, clearly labeled as ranges, with the exact number confirmed after a walkthrough. That single change answers the shopper’s first question before they ever leave your site.

3. An Instant Estimate Calculator Beats a Contact Form

The strongest piece we built for Mafatehu is the Instant Estimate calculator on their services page: pick the service type, the size, and the frequency, and the visitor gets a real per-visit and monthly number on the spot — no name, no email, no waiting. (For reference: a 3,000 sq ft office cleaned twice a week comes out at $480 a visit, about $4,155 a month, on their approved rates.)

Why does it work? Because it respects how people actually buy. Shoppers want a number now, not a callback tomorrow. The calculator gives them the number, and the owner still confirms the final exact price after seeing the space — nobody is locked into a bad quote, and the lead arrives already educated.

4. The Basics That Have to Be Right

Underneath the strategy, a cleaning company website lives or dies on basics: tap-to-call on mobile (most of your traffic is on phones), a quote form with smart dropdowns — service type, size, frequency — that routes straight to the owner’s email, your Google reviews up front, a Licensed / Bonded / Insured strip where nervous first-time buyers can see it, and real photos of your work instead of stock mops. Skip any one of these and you are leaking jobs you already earned the click for.

What This Costs a Cleaning Company

Straight numbers, like everything else we publish: a complete custom website is $800 flat at Samson Select, and if you already have a site that just needs the service-page treatment, the Service Page Build-Out is $500 — detailed pages for every service plus a quote-form rebuild on your existing site, Wix included. The full pricing picture for every kind of business is in our Pierce County website cost guide.

We build for cleaning companies across the corridor — see website design in Tacoma and website design in Puyallup — and the process starts with an instant estimate or a free visibility check. If your website lists your services but never books them, that is fixable — and it is mostly structure, not magic.
